An outstanding boating course for new boaters
as well as a review for the more experienced.
The class includes boat handling, equipment,
marlinspike, safe operation, seamanship, trailering
and more.
This class is open to anyone from the ages 10
and up, and is a great family activity.
The course provides NYS certification for PWC operation. There are four two-hour classes, plus a test on the fifth night.
An additional two classes will be offered for the same price where students will learn the art of Course Plotting.
Most insurance companies provide discounts for certificate holders.
Registration 7:00 PM March 22, 2010 at West Islip Community Center, 90 Higbie Lane, West Islip NY.
Classes begin 7:30 PM March 22, 2010. The course schedule is as follows:
3/22, 4/5, 4/12, 4/26, test on 5/3 and 5/10 and 5/17 for the plotting section of the course.
