New York State law requires you to complete at least 8 hours of approved boating safety training to qualify for a New York State boating safety certificate. You must attend all sessions of America’s Boating Course to satisfy this training requirement. If you miss any part of the course, you will not be allowed to take the exam or receive your certificate after passing the exam.
